Our Activities

It has to be imperative that education should provide a balanced combination of academic programs, skills development, physical education, spiritual, cultural, service, and other extra-curricular activities so that sufficient opportunities are provided for the holistic development of students’ personalities. This cannot be achieved without a dedicated team of noble and competent Acharyas, — as the teachers are called here — which is key to the success of this model. Residential Education (Gurukula) is highly conducive for effective implementation of this model. Nevertheless, connecting students with society (communities) and the natural environment is also essential for integral values-based transformative education.

Students undertake so many activities in their day-to-day lives to keep their skills up. They try to gain mastery over all the activities done round-the-clock to achieve all-around development. At the end of the day, all offer these activities at their Master’s feet because he is the Teacher, Inspiration, and Motivation.

Doing all these activities is fun. They enjoy doing all the activities as it is all designed in such a way that it would help them a lot and give them confidence in life to even the so-to-seem hard tasks. This type of encouragement to students is must as it helps a lot when they later go and get employed. They are all judged on these skills which they have inculcated during their teenage from their Schools or college at this point in time.

We have done the following activities till date.

RAMA NAVAMI CELEBRATION

The Rama Navami celebrations of 2021 was a special occasion where the students made a palanquin for Lord Rama and did nagar sankeerthan across the campus. It was a Blissful experience singing bhajans, chanting Vedas and be immersed in that heavenly joy togetherf

TREK TO HYDER ALI HILL

Trekking is a very good sport and being in Sathya Sai Grama and having so many mountains around, students feel themselves to be very  fortunate. They very frequently climb these hills and enjoy that spectacle from where the world is visible until where the horizon stretches itself making an amazing sight to behold. It is so peaceful and amazing to be at that height.

TRIP TO BHOGA NANDEESHWARA TEMPLE

Apart from the temples in the campus, students also very often we visit the temples around. This temple is a great combination of beauty and vibrancy. As they entered, students did nagar sankeertan, seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings, and then, after the darshan, came back, still soaked in that divine feeling.
